What we collect

• Account details: name, email, and role (buyer or maker).
• Order details: items, delivery address and contact number, and order history.
• Maker details: studio name, location, portfolio images and listings.
• Payment data is handled by Stripe; we receive confirmation and status, not your full card number.
• Basic usage data (pages viewed, device/browser) to keep the site working and improve it.

How we use it

• To process orders, payments, refunds and delivery.
• To connect buyers with makers and coordinate commissions.
• To send transactional emails (order, shipping, delivery, refund and payout notices).
• To keep the marketplace safe, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.
• To understand and improve how Baan is used.

Who we share it with

We share data only as needed to provide the service: with the maker fulfilling your order (e.g. delivery details), with our payment processor (Stripe), email provider (Resend), and hosting/infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase). We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference, and limited analytics to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Access is protected by row-level security and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account data, and ask questions about how your data is used. Email support@baan-th.com and we’ll help. Where applicable, you also have rights under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
